Any large goal is made up of hundreds of smaller actions, habits and failures. Work to identify and complete the next small steps to take toward achieving your goal.
Jan 16, 2022
When you set your goal, it is easy to see it as this big... blob.
A kind of indistinct, abstract, other thing.
A big idea, that you are on board with, but really have no real concept of what it means.
Or how you will get there.
But your goal is actually made up of many smaller goals.
Of hundreds of small actions, that one by one will get you there.
Of habits you will need to start.
And of many, many fails.
So let's get practical.
Between you and your goal is a whole list of things you need to do.
Things you need to learn.
Obstacles you need to overcome.
Failures you need to experience.
And most of all, new things that you need to learn to believe.
So take some time to take stock.
Write it all down.
What is every possible thing that you can think of that you will need to do to work toward your goal?
What is every obstacle?
How will you overcome those obstacles?
What do you need to work on believing to reach this goal?
Now pick the things you want to work on this week, this month.
And get started.
If you want some guidance, goals are my speciality
