Learning from 2021 allows you to create the 2022 you desire.

Sometimes you might not like to look back and evaluate because you only use the information to beat yourself up.

To look at all the things you did wrong.

All the ways your results didn’t meet your desires.

And all the ways you failed.

You do this because somewhere along the way you were taught that this was the way to motivate yourself not to fail the next time.

But it doesn’t really work.

Because we take action from the emotions we are feeling.

And when you feel defeated, frustrated and let down, you don’t take action to actually make changes.

So you avoid evaluation because you don’t want to feel like crap.

And you miss all the magic.

All the things you can learn from hindsight.

All the things you can take with you to improve your results the next go around.

So take the time to evaluate (check last weeks Monday Motivation).

And then ask yourself, what did I LEARN?

What lessons did you learn from the things that went well?

How can you take that with you into 2022?

How can you even improve on it?

What lessons did you learn from the things that didn’t go well?

How can you take that with you into 2022?

What are you proud of yourself for?

How can you create more of that?

Learn from 2021.

And decide what to take with you into 2022.

Then leave the rest behind.

Let’s do it together in 2022.
