You have to examine how you spend your free time to understand how you can show up as your best self in 2022.

We all like to fool ourselves.

We like to pretend that we can work at full capacity and effectiveness for as many hours a week as we desire.

But it is just not true.

Your brain takes up more energy than any other organ in your body.

Your body simply can’t survive on letting your brain be fueled all hours of all the days.

So it just… won’t.

You can work more and more hours.

But your body says, it’s a NO.

It simply refuses to try to fuel the energy sucking organ of your brain at that level.

And so you take brakes.

You zone out.

You surf the web, get on social media, watch youtube, netflixs, shop, eat, drink, etc.

Even when you have told yourself that you should be working.

So stop pretending that you are working 60 or 80 hours a week.

Your brain and body simply will not let you.

You waste time, do things to take a break again and again.

So need to just plan it.

Plan to spend free time in a way that fuels and serves you.
Let’s start with looking back.

How have you spent your free time this last year.

Are you zoning out and doing things that don’t really refuel you?

Or are you taking your free time intentionally in ways that actually refuels you?

What has that looked like this year?

What do you want to learn from it?

What do you want to take with you into this next year?

Let’s look back so you can look forward.
