It's time to get started. 

 

Just because the calendar turns to a new year doesn't mean things start to happen magically.

 

But it does mean it's a regular rhythm to press reset on what you are doing every day.

 

To create new daily habits that move you closer to the dreams you want to achieve. 

 

Maybe you have set a huge, impossible goal for the year or maybe you have just decided on new regular actions you want to take that you know will move you forward.

 

Either way, the first step is to learn the skills to begin making the daily changes you need to make.

 

I call it Goal Mastery.

 

You need to learn the skills to anticipate the obstacles you will face and the strategies you will use to overcome them.

 

You need to learn the skills to create the action plan you will follow to move you closer to your goal.

 

And you need to learn the skills to create the motivation you need to keep going when it gets hard.

 

Because here is the thing. 

 

It will get hard.

 

But don't fool yourself. 

 

There will be hard times either way.

 

Whether you take action towards your goals or not, you will feel discomfort, fear and doubt either way.

 

You will experience the discomfort of not going after your dreams, or the discomfort of going after your dreams.

 

You will experience the discomfort of stagnation or the discomfort of growth.

 

Either way, you are going to feel discomfort. It is part of the human experience.

 

So let's choose the discomfort of growth, of change and of becoming a person who does what it takes to reach their goals.
